Golden Dragon kung-fu school was founded in 2001. The school gained popularity very fast and soon became known not only in Russia, but also in China, Europe and USA. Skilled instructors, friendly atmosphere, and a constant striving for self perfection bring in a lot of new students to school.
Along with adult program, Golden Dragon is actively developing and expanding kung fu program for children. Minimum requirement is to be 5 years of age. Besides general training, the instructors give kids the essential qualities for life such as attention, will, diligence, self confidence...
Teaching in school is based on the U-Sin concept (teachings based on five prime elements) and the Yin and Yang principles which correspond with the traditional form of development of the martial arts in China during the last 4000 years. Keeping this in mind the training is divided into two areas: internal and external.
We’d like to help our students understand themselves and look at the beautiful world through the eyes of clear-headed, confident people.Self knowledge is attained through rigorous training and self motivation.We need to separate the notion of sport martial arts from traditional martial arts, because they have little in common.
The path to self comprehension is not an easy one. You will need to work a lot and the only motivation will be your will.There won’t be any tournaments, recognition or honor, but instead you will gain peace of mind, a combination of harmony together with good physical state and the ability to defend yourself.
Besides trainings, Golden Dragon also holds lectures, teatimes, different celebrations, filming of instructional videos, theatrical plays. Students take active part in all aspects of the school’s life, while having the possibility to get to know other students and masters better.
